If you prefer salt-water-related activities, Tutka Bay is the spot for you. The lodge is a 30-minute water taxi ride from Homer, located at the head of a 7-mile fjord at the southern end of Kachemak Bay on the Kenai Peninsula. Beach-combing, tidepooling, and sea-kayaking are just some of the activities available. Arrangements can also be made to go bear-viewing and deep-sea fishing. The seasonal lodge, open May- September, offers similar amenities and wonderful dining as both Winterlake and Redoubt Bay Lodges.
